Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a part-time Deli Bakery Associate at Whidbey Island NAS in Oak Harbor, WA. You will slice deli meats, prepare party trays, stock displays, and maintain sanitation while delivering friendly customer service to military families.

This position requires effective communication, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to cross-train in bakery tasks. Weekend shifts may be required; great pay, paid time off, holidays, and a 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Team player.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus!
• Some weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities
