Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate for a part-time role at Norfolk NAVSTA, VA. You will help serve our nation’s military personnel and families at one of our locations, delivering friendly service and accurate deli/bakery tasks.

This is a part-time position offering 15–20 hours per week with weekend availability. Duties include slicing meats and cheeses, preparing trays, stocking displays, and maintaining sanitation while working in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Team player.
• Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.
• Some weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities
