Job summary

Festival Foods in Menasha, WI is seeking a Deli Assistant Department Manager - PM to lead a fast-paced deli team. You’ll report to the Deli Department Manager and guide associates, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold safety, quality, and scheduling standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in a deli or food-service environment, strong communication, and a focus on safety and perishable-category operations. Night, weekend, and holiday shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in deli or food-service.
• Strong interpersonal and guest-service skills.
• Knowledge of perishable department operations.
• ServeSafe certification preferred; Festival will pay for certification if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Department Manager in achieving labor goals and shrink control.
• Lead and train associates to uphold Festival standards and performance.
• Provide outstanding guest service and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain inventory, pricing accuracy, and manage special orders.
• Collaborate with the Deli Manager on reviews and hiring.
• Ensure safety standards and food safety logs are followed.
• Provide ongoing feedback and training after 30/60/90 days.
• Maintain regular attendance and plan replacements for absences.
• Support the team with additional duties as assigned.
