Festival Foods in Menasha, WI is seeking a Deli Service Counter Manager to lead the deli team with a focus on guest service, product quality, and daily operations. You will oversee staffing, training, inventory, and counter presentation in a fast-paced grocery environment.

This full-time role requires 3+ years of leadership in retail or food service, excellent communication, and a strong safety mindset. You’ll report to the Deli Manager and contribute to a positive guest experience daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in retail or food service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of safety requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and greeting; address questions and concerns professionally.
• Lead, support, and reinforce deli team culture and performance expectations.
• Partner with HR to maintain staffing levels and assist with interviews and offers.
• Provide thorough training for new deli associates and ongoing coaching.
• Ensure a positive guest experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist guests with locating items and addressing service or product concerns.
• Manage deli service counter presentation, inventory, and temperature logs.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate counts at daily checkpoints (e.g., 10 AM and 5 PM).
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Attend shifts reliably and arrange replacements as needed.
• Assist team with other duties as assigned.
