Location: Cub Foods Eden Knollwood

Reports to: Deli Manager

Classification: Part Time

Union: Yes

Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $18.00 / hour, based on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with customers.
• Prepare deli products, including meats and cheeses (may handle pork).
• Fill and rotate cases and display (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store.
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department.
• Be part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Physical & Job Requirements

• Frequent physical lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 500 to 1500 lbs, walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting.
• Occasional lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, crawling (<15% of shift).
• Equipment operation: scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment and cooking oil.
• Judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math.
