Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. seeks a part-time Deli Associate in Edina to prepare deli meats and cheeses, stock cases, and help maintain a clean department. You’ll engage with customers, rotate displays, and assist with light-to-moderate lifting as part of a collaborative team.

• Rate of Pay: Progressive scale from $15.00 - $18.00 / hour, based on experience
• Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Frequency and Task Details

• FREQUENT: Physical: lifting/carrying to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling 500 to 1500 pounds walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting
• Equipment Operation: scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and intercom pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils
• Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math
• Environmental: exposure to hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment and cooking oil
• OCCASIONAL: Physical: lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., crawling **FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift. **OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
