Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Experience in a care center is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow federal, state and local regulations.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting culture.
• Observe and record patient behavior.
• Assist in directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing care for residents.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Collect patient health histories.
• Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Implement nursing services, objectives, and standards; resolve care issues.
• Administer medications, change wound dressings, and care for other treatments.
• Read and interpret patient information to aid treatment decisions.
• Consult with supervisors and doctors to determine best treatment plans.
• Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and aides.
• Research ways to improve healthcare processes and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy rights.
• Attend required LMS trainings and staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned to support resident care and well-being.
