Job summary

Seaton Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is seeking an experienced Delegating Nurse to supervise the nursing department in our Assisted Living community. This exempt role performs Delegating Nurse duties under COMAR 10.07.14.20 and coordinates resident care with families and outside agencies.

This leadership position oversees staff training, scheduling, QA participation, and policy updates to ensure high-quality, compliant resident care and ongoing clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with Delegating RN licensure.
• Active CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in a similar senior living setting preferred.
• Strong management and communication skills for coordinating care with residents, staff and families.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to anticipate problems and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the Assisted Living and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and outside agencies.
• Lead staff training, scheduling, and payroll support as needed.
• Participate in audits and Quality Assurance meetings.
• Provide staff supervision and floor coverage as required.
• Teach medication administration and maintain nursing policies.
