Job summary

Weaver Partners seeks Defined Contribution professionals for fully remote roles across the United States. You will manage DC plans end-to-end, perform compliance testing, prepare Form 5500s, and advise clients on plan design and operational issues.

Collaboration with recordkeepers, advisors, and internal teams is essential, and mentorship may be available. Open to varying levels of experience, the role emphasizes ownership of plans from A to Z, process improvement, and delivering accurate,

Qualifications

  • Retirement plan administration / TPA experience
  • Knowledge of 401(k) and Defined Contribution plans
  • ERISA and qualified plan compliance knowledge
  • Client-facing communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Experience with retirement plan administration and compliance technology

Responsibilities

  • Manage Defined Contribution plans from A–Z administration through year-end delivery
  • Perform and/or review compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), 415 and Top
  • Prepare and review Form 5500 filings and related government reporting
  • Consult with clients on plan design, corrections and operational issues
  • Work with plans that may include cross-tested / New Comparability plans, MEPs and large audit plans
  • Review contribution calculations, reconciliations and trust accounting
  • Coordinate with recordkeepers, financial advisors, auditors and internal teams
  • Depending on experience, provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
  • Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, establish processes and create greater operational consistency

Defined Contribution Plan Administrator / Consultant — Remote

Fully Remote

Several highly respected retirement consulting and TPA firms are seeking Defined Contribution professionals who combine technical retirement plan knowledge with strong client-facing skills.

Opportunities are available across multiple experience levels, from developing administrators looking to expand their technical expertise to highly experienced consultants who can independently manage complex plans and client relationships.

These opportunities are ideal for professionals who enjoy owning plans from A–Z, solving compliance issues, improving processes, and serving as a trusted resource to clients and internal teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage Defined Contribution plans from A–Z administration through year-end delivery
  • Perform and/or review compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), 415 and Top

  • Consult with clients on plan design, corrections and operational issues

What We’re Looking For
  • Retirement plan administration / TPA experience — open to all experience levels
  • Knowledge of 401(k) and Defined Contribution plans
  • ERISA and qualified plan compliance knowledge appropriate to your experience level
  • Client-facing communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Experience with retirement plan administration and compliance technology
Industry Software Experience May Include:
  • Other retirement plan administration/compliance platforms

Experience with one particular system is not required — transferable experience across retirement plan administration technology is highly valued.

Bonus Experience:
  • ASPPA, NIPA or other retirement industry designations/credentials
  • Process improvement, automation and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Training or mentoring other administrators
  • Plan terminations and corrections
  • DFVCP and audit coordination
