BWD Search & Selection is recruiting a Defined Benefit Team Manager for an established retirement services business. This remote role leads actuaries and retirement plan specialists across defined benefit, cash balance and combined DB/DC arrangements.

You’ll coach, set priorities, review performance and ensure clients receive accurate, timely advice. The base salary is $120,000–$150,000 with health benefits, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Formación

• At least 10 years in retirement services with strong defined benefit, cash balance or combination-plan experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management responsibility.
• Evidence of developing technical staff and managing performance.
• Sound knowledge of US retirement plan legislation, compliance testing and plan documentation.
• Clear communication, practical judgement and confidence handling complex client situations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead actuaries and retirement plan specialists across defined benefit, cash balance and combined DB/DC arrangements.
• Own the team’s priorities, development and performance; coach colleagues and balance workloads for accurate, timely client advice.
• Serve as escalation point for challenging cases and identify better ways to deliver work with other leaders.
• Ensure consistent client delivery and strengthen the client experience through knowledge sharing.
