DWC, a retirement plan services firm, seeks a Senior Plan Consultant (Defined Benefits) to perform annual nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 filings for defined benefit plans, collaborating with advisors, actuaries, and sponsors.

This fully remote role requires 5–10 years of defined benefit or retirement plan experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to meet IRS and DOL deadlines while delivering accurate, client-focused service.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience in defined benefit or retirement plan administration.
• Ability to read and understand complex defined benefit documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to reconcile assets and liabilities.
• Willingness to pursue ASPPA QPA/QKA certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Performs nondiscrimination, coverage, and top-heavy testing for defined benefit plans up to 250 participants.
• Calculates annual required and discretionary employer contributions based on actuarial valuations.
• Identifies corrective actions for testing failures or errors per IRS programs (e.g., EPCRS).
• Consults with plan sponsors to explain results and funding obligations.
• Assists in preparing IRS Form 5500, Schedule SB, and actuarial attachments.
• Supports plan audits with financial and actuarial documentation.
• Ensures compliance with IRS and DOL deadlines during peak seasons.
• Performs other duties related to defined benefit plan administration.
