Job summary

Strongpoint Partners is seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary with DB/DC plan administration expertise for a fully remote role within the United States. You will support defined benefit valuations, PBGC filings, and client guidance while thriving in a fast-growing, tech-enabled retirement services environment.

You will bring 3–5+ years of retirement plan experience, an Enrolled Actuary designation, and strong knowledge of nondiscrimination testing to design compliant, cost-effective plan

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of retirement plan experience, small defined benefit experience preferred.
• Enrolled Actuary designation to sign documents.
• Excellent knowledge of non-discrimination testing.
• Knowledge of DB/Cash Balance actuarial valuation reports & PBGC filing requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and administration systems (Relius, FT William).

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret Defined Benefit / Cash Balance actuarial valuation and communicate issues to in-house actuaries and clients.
• Prepare and facilitate PBGC filings for covered Defined Benefit Plans.
• Maintain industry knowledge and share information with client and team members.
• Keep up to date with changing 401(k) & Defined Benefit Plan legislative requirements.
• Read and interpret legal plan documents and amendments.
• Discuss plan design changes and options with clients.
• Review 401(k) valuations/trust accounting/government reporting on an accrual basis.
• Perform and understand non-discrimination testing.
• Provide actuarial and administration support to clients.
• Perform benefit calculations, valuations, AFTAP and schedule B.
• Other duties as assigned.
