Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Florida is seeking a Deficiency Coordinator to estimate and generate sales proposals for repairs identified during contracted fire alarm, sprinkler, and life safety inspections. You will be the primary contact for customers with outstanding deficiencies to ensure quotes and repairs are completed.

You will coordinate with customers and the service department, build relationships with inspectors, track quotes, and drive sales toward an assigned quota, while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
• Fire alarm, sprinkler or security industry knowledge a plus.
• Over the counter sales or customer service experience.
• Comfortable with proactively reaching out to customers and solving problems.
• Strong computer skills and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate system repair estimates and proposals promptly after inspections.
• Coordinate with customers to facilitate timely repairs.
• Develop relationships with field inspectors and obtain reports for quoting.
• Gain commitment from customers over phone or email.
• Provide customers with recommendations and communicate urgent repair needs.
• Track deficiency quotations by customer and value.
• Deliver sales to an assigned quota and coordinate with service for scheduling.
• Interface with service managers and other sales reps as needed.
• Provide written notices to customers who elect not to repair.
