Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will support demonstrations, field trials, and system architectures across multi-domain environments.

Role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a 100% remote option depending on location. Bachelor’s degree and security clearance are required, with potential for growth in defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsabilités

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps, SOF-peculiar communications requirements, and Hyper-Enabled Operator/tactical edge network design goals, mapping operational needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team to leverage continuous testing and competitive benchmarking data, helping verify that proposed solution architectures are technically sound.
• Maintain close alignment with the Business Development team to support their ongoing technical needs and align work with established strategic priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations tailored to low-signature, resilient, and tactical edge operational needs of USSOCOM and its component commands (USASOC, NAVSPECWARCOM, AFSOC, MARSOC).
