Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Department Manager 3 to lead a team of engineers across Launch Systems, Facility Infrastructure, and ICBM Sustainment in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL or Manhattan Beach, CA. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing talent, overseeing requirements and MBSE efforts (DOORS, CAMEO, SysML), and coordinating with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience or a Master's Degree with 6 years
• Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
• US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
• Experience in requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool
• Experience in model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool
• Experience in Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers across Launch Systems, Facility Infrastructure, and ICBM Sustainment
• Provide ownership for people, processes, and tools supporting business areas and programs
• Recruit, staff, and retain talent to deliver objectives
• Support proposal work, independent technical reviews, program standup, and audits
• Mentor and train section managers and the employee base
• Coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control activities
