Job summary

Celonis seeks an Account Executive with inside knowledge of the Bundeswehr to position our Process Intelligence platform within the German defense sector. You’ll translate military logistics and IT needs into concrete, AI-powered use cases, building trusted relationships across the defense ecosystem and driving long, complex deals to close.

You will collaborate with Public Sector teams, product experts, and partners to create solution blueprints and expand Celonis’ footprint in the Bundeswehr

Qualifications

• Experience within the Bundeswehr, e.g. as an officer or civilian, with leadership in logistics, procurement, IT or organizational development.
• Strong network within the Bundeswehr and understanding of its decision-making and budgeting processes.
• Understanding of process and data challenges in logistics, materiel readiness, maintenance or procurement.
• Interest in moving into a customer-facing role; prior sales/BD/consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and own relationships across the Bundeswehr and its ecosystem (Heer, Marine, Luftwaffe, CIR) and related ministries.
• Engage with senior decision-makers in leadership, logistics, procurement, IT and digitalization.
• Translate operational challenges into AI-enabled use cases with measurable impact (logistics, MRO, supply chain).
• Provide feedback to product/marketing/Value Engineering to sharpen Celonis offering.
• Own revenue target and drive complex, long-selling cycles to close.
• Navigate defense procurement and tender processes with partners and internal experts.
• Collaborate with consulting firms, system integrators, and defense IT providers.
• Represent Celonis at public sector and defense events.
