Job summary

Serco is seeking an Operations Vice President of Defense Programs in Washington, DC. You will provide executive leadership for a portfolio exceeding $150M in annual revenue and a workforce of about 400 employees worldwide, supporting U.S. Navy, DoW, and international customers.

Must hold an active DoW Secret security clearance and US citizenship. A Master’s degree in a related field or a Bachelor's with 5+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Master's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; or a Bachelor's plus 5 years of relevant experience.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in DoW programs.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex organizations and deliver operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for a portfolio exceeding $150M in annual revenue.
• Lead a worldwide workforce of ~400 employees across multiple programs and contracts.
• Set strategies and priorities supporting growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term objectives.
• Maintain accountability for portfolio financial performance, forecasting, and risk management.
• Drive innovative, tech-enabled solutions addressing diverse mission areas and contract vehicles.
• Engage with senior government stakeholders, industry partners, and Serco leadership to grow relationships.
