Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET, Inc.) seeks a mid-level Journeyman Program / Project / Management Analyst to support the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk, VA. You will apply structured analytic techniques to evaluate objectives, track schedules, and monitor budgets, ensuring documentation and change control align with government processes.

In this role you will organize acquisition datasets, engage in trade-off studies, and support decision-making with rigorous data

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 10 years of direct experience in program analysis, project tracking, or defense acquisition management.
• Familiarity with NAVAIR program office environments, defense acquisition pathways, and milestone review processes.
• Proficiency with project management tools (such as MS Project and advanced Excel), strong technical drafting capabilities, and sharp analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives, tracking milestones, critical path schedules, and project statuses.
• Analyze conflicting program requirements, operational status updates, budget execution data, and project schedules to identify performance risks.
• Perform management, technical, or business case analyses to support decision-making, trade-off studies, and operational alternatives.
• Collect, complete, organize, and interpret complex data streams relating to aircraft, weapons systems, and product acquisition programs.
• Apply government-instituted processes for official documentation control, configuration change management, and secure data management lifecycle procedures.
