DeVal Lifecycle Support in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer focused on design engineering to contribute to mechanical systems and components from concept through production. You will perform FEA with ANSYS or similar tools and create precise technical drawings and documentation.

This role offers hands-on project work, collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams, and opportunities to grow through training and expanded responsibilities in a defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD modeling.
• Experience with FEA and hand calculations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine designs for mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Perform FEA to evaluate structural, thermal, and mechanical performance.
• Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Produce technical documentation, reports, procedures, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing to ensure design feasibility and safety.
