Job summary

RFA Engineering, a long-standing engineering service provider, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop components and systems, including plastics, castings, welds, and sheet metal. You will work with an experienced staff onsite at a customer facility.

Responsibilities include 3-D modeling with Creo, creating 2D drawings, and collaborating across teams to ensure robust, cost-effective designs. A BS in mechanical-related field is required, with strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration.
• Use Creo and Windchill to model components and routing.
• Create and support 2D drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to develop cost-effective designs.
• Document design decisions and analyses for prototypes and adoption.
