Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a Sr Manager Material Program Manager to lead all supply chain activities for a program. You will align IPT, PMs, and functional leads to balance cost, schedule, and risk while guiding a talented team.

Typically, a university degree with 10+ years’ experience is expected (7+ years with an advanced degree). Aerospace/defense background is preferred, and travel up to 25% is required. DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Owns the execution of material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).
• Provide resources, training, and talent management to the team.
• Drive program planning, financial goals, building teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Review gating activities, EACs, Risk Register, engineering boards, proposal strategies, and supply base messaging.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve supplier or material issues.
• Report status related to supplier and material needs to leadership across tiers (Tier 1–3).
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.
