Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a senior Supply Chain/Program Manager for an on-site leadership role requiring active DoD Secret clearance on day‑1. You will interface with Supply Chain, IPTs, and the Program Office to drive EVM, forecasts, supplier management, and metrics to keep programs healthy.

Typically a university degree with 10+ years’ experience; expertise in MRP, Kinaxis, SAP or PRISM and cross‑functional leadership is required.

  • Oversee proposal performance reporting and material deliveries.
  • Identify risks and support future proposal activities.

Job description

This position is located in Tucson, AZ and requires an active DoD Secret clearance on day‑1. The role is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the interface between Supply Chain, Program Office, Integrated Product Team (IPT), and other cross‑functional teams for development and production contracts.
  • Lead earned‑value management (EVM) activities, including quarterly EACs and material sales forecasting.
  • Ensure supplier material management, forecasting, and adherence to cost and schedule requirements.
  • Develop and monitor program and supply‑chain metrics to maintain program health and goal alignment.
  • Drive execution of supply‑chain strategies, including supplier assessments and proposal activities, and manage risks/opportunities.
  • Use critical thinking to propose innovative solutions that increase operational efficiency and support program success.
  • Manage production alignment with MRP to support operational execution.
  • Oversee GSC proposal performance reporting and ensure timely material deliveries.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, maintain financial health (EACs, AOP, R&O), and support future proposal activities.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • Typically a university degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Experience in supplier management, project management, or program management.
  • Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools such as MRP systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM).
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work on programs that require special access to restricted facilities or systems.
Qualifications – Preferred
  • Experience applying earned‑value management principles or integrating project cost, schedule, risk, and progress.
  • Prior experience in the defense industry, particularly in supply‑chain functions.
  • Experience driving proposal performance.
Benefits

Competitive salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD.

Benefits are dependent on the business unit and collective bargaining agreements.
