Job summary

Raytheon Company seeks an experienced Material Program Manager to join its Advanced Technology team in an onsite role in Tucson. You will develop material program strategies, manage suppliers, and coordinate closely with production control, procurement, and engineering to ensure flawless execution from early planning through contract closure.

The role requires a university degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree, and the ability to obtain a DoD security

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant work experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience with Logistics, Scheduling, Supply Chain, Operations, Production Control, Procurement or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
• Assisting with the review and SCM inputs of SSOWs.
• Generating RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
• Creating material requests and short text purchase requests; driving PR/PO generation and management.
• Familiar with applicable policies to perform MPM tasks; coordinate with procurement and production control.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for supply chain requests.
• Facilitate creation/updates of PIAs/NDA for new suppliers.
• Work with IRAD procurement to streamline PO cycle times.
