Job summary

The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL seeks a Manufacturing Manager (K-Level) to lead multi-discipline manufacturing teams for defense products, including PAC-3 seeker work. You will drive resources, improve processes, and ensure safety, quality and cost targets while coordinating with customers and stakeholders.

Requires 3+ years in manufacturing and team leadership; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with Lean experience and an active US security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal leadership role or informal role.
• Active US security clearance (preferred).
• Project leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.
• Leads defect reduction activities (Cut the CoRRS, BPSM, RCCA, DMAIC, etc.).
• Leads Continuous Improvement teams in the area of responsibility.
• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Employee performance and development.
