Job summary

RTX is seeking a hands-on Test Solutions Engineer to join the Hardware Discipline Center. You will design and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for mission-critical defense products across their lifecycle, from development labs to factory production and field sustainment.

You will work in a collaborative engineering team, developing detailed schematics and ensuring performance, quality, and reliability while coordinating with systems and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree required by start date.
• Experience selecting, calculating values for, and integrating passive and active electronic components.
• Experience operating laboratory test and measurement equipment.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate specialized electrical test products for defense systems.
• Develop schematics and PCB layouts per industry standards.
• Validate hardware performance with lab equipment.
• Diagnose hardware issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers.
