Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer in Tucson to join the Hardware Discipline Center. You will design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products across their lifecycle.

You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure test equipment meets strict performance, reliability, and safety standards while supporting development, production, and sustainment activities. Security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required by start date.
• Experience selecting, calculating values for passive/active components in analog or digital designs.
• Experience using lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, analyzers) to test hardware.
• Experience gained via work, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products, adapters, cabling, and fixtures.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and docs meeting defense standards.
• Validate hardware with lab equipment to test performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across development and production.
• Support project execution, ensuring designs meet performance, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers.
