Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products. You will join a multidisciplinary team supporting development labs, factory production, and long-term sustainment.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, precise measurement, and collaboration with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to ensure high performance and reliability across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree required by start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive/active components in analog or digital circuit designs.
• Experience using lab test equipment to test hardware and measure signals.
• On-the-job experience, coursework, labs or projects acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products and fixtures for defense systems.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation meeting industry standards.
• Validate hardware with lab equipment and characterize performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues across development and production.
• Support project execution to meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to deliver robust test architectures.
