Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center seeks a hands-on engineer to design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products across development labs, production, and sustainment. You'll work with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers, validate hardware performance with oscilloscopes and analyzers, and help ensure designs meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required by start date.
• Experience selecting and calculating component values for analog and digital circuits.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters) to test hardware.
• Experience gained through coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products, interface adapters, cabling, and fixtures for defense systems.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and test documentation to industry and defense standards.
• Validate hardware performance using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware integration issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to deliver robust test architectures.
