Job summary

LifePort is seeking a senior business development professional to grow its defense portfolio across the U.S. DoD and allied governments.

You will cultivate trusted relationships, map funding and acquisition pathways, and convert customer needs into qualified pursuits and revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include owning campaigns from early identification through proposal and award, coordinating with engineering, programs, and contracts, and engaging senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build credibility with DoD customers and senior military personnel.
• Strong understanding of DoD budgeting, funding and acquisition processes (PPBE/POM, RDT&E, O&M).
• Experience in defense and government procurement, including FMS/ security cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Develop LifePort defense portfolio across DoD and allied governments.
• Own campaigns from identification through qualification, capture, proposal and follow-on growth.
• Coordinate pricing, contracts, and partner strategies with internal teams.
