Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA seeks a seasoned defense business development leader to grow the company’s DoD portfolio across federal customers and allied governments. You will own campaigns from early discovery through proposal, lead executive discussions, and translate customer needs into funded opportunities.

This role requires a strong DoD network, knowledge of PPBE, and the ability to work with engineering, operations and contracts to ensure feasible, certifiable solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with defense customers.
• Deep understanding of U.S. defense acquisition and funding processes.
• Strong writing and briefing skills for executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop defense campaigns and manage from early identification to pursuit.
• Lead customer discovery and translate needs to internal terms for Eng/Programs.
• Coordinate with Finance and Contracts on pricing, terms, and risk.
• Maintain disciplined CRM, forecast data and executive updates.
