Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly capable Test Solutions Engineer in Andover, MA to join our Hardware Discipline Center. You will design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products across their lifecycle, working in a multidisciplinary team to ensure performance and reliability.

The role requires a STEM advanced degree and hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers), plus ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree required before start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive/active components in analog or digital designs.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment to test hardware and measure signals.
• Experience may be gained through work, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products and fixtures for defense systems.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering documentation to industry standards.
• Validate hardware performance using laboratory test equipment and measurements.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues across development and production.
• Support project execution to meet technical performance, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers on test architectures.
