Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements with U.S. Defense Department customers and partner ecosystem.

You will define architectures, drive POCs, and leverage services like Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, EC2, and Lambda to deliver cloud-based solutions for Navy, Marine Corps, and related agencies. You will collaborate with a dynamic sales and systems integration team, share best practices, and mentor peers while advancing AWS capabilities in the defense

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of infrastructure and database architecture and networking experience.
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on security and related technologies for customer applications and services.
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
