Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with DoD requirements. You’ll support US Air Force acquisition stakeholders, demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios, and travel to field tests and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years experience; OR HS diploma +5 years in technical/defense roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical comms systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; U.S. citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and support field trials and evaluations.
• Benchmark architectures and verify technical soundness with BD team.
• Align work with strategic priorities and provide technical demos for airborne and expeditionary needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and review.
• Conduct market research to identify potential industry partnerships and test end-to-end networks.
• Engage with DoD program offices and labs to track requirements and roadmap inputs.
