Elastic seeks an US Public Sector Defense Agencies Account Executive to expand adoption of Elastic’s search, observability, and security solutions within Defense Agencies. You will build strategic relationships with military leadership and work with partners to fulfill mission requirements.

The role requires deep defense domain knowledge, federal procurement experience, and the ability to navigate complex contracting vehicles while representing Elastic at industry events.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Defense Agency missions and DISA/4th Estate structures.
• Proven defense sales, business development, or program management experience in the public sector.
• Familiarity with SOCs, AI/ML, data analytics, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to translate tech into mission value.
• Experience navigating federal procurement processes and contracting vehicles.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Elastic's sales strategy for Defense Agencies, delivering tailored solutions for operational and cybersecurity needs.
• Cultivate relationships with military and defense agency leadership, identifying opportunities to support mission success with Elastic’s products.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and system integrators to design and implement Elastic solutions for joint and multi-domain operations.
• Partner with internal teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure alignment with federal acquisition requirements.
• Stay abreast of evolving mission priorities, defense funding trends, and technological advancements.
• Represent Elastic at defense industry events, briefings, and conferences to showcase capabilities and build partnerships.
