Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking a Deductions Analyst III on a contract basis in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA. The candidate will support the Customer’s financial operations, focusing on deductions management, accounts receivable, and resolving payment discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in deductions or related finance functions, strong Excel and ERP experience, and excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4–5 years in deductions management, accounts receivable, customer claims, or related finance functions.
• Experience reconciling invoices, customer accounts, and payment discrepancies.
• Advanced reporting and analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day research, investigation communications, and resolution of customer deductions.
• Analyze and develop support to issue credit or debit memos.
• Handle transactions that are exceptions to terms.
• Attend meetings and visit customers to discuss deduction resolutions and processes.
• Research causal factors and develop processes to eliminate issues.
• Resolve deductions to avoid write-offs.

We are seeking a Deductions Analyst III on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid in Atlanta, GA.

NOTE: Candidates must have their own laptops, the customer is not providing laptops to contractors at this time.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and visit customers to discuss deduction resolutions and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in deductions management, accounts receivable, customer claims, cash applications, or related finance functions.
• Experience reconciling invoices, customer accounts, and payment discrepancies.
• Advanced reporting and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar financial systems.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
