Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Disclosure & Declassification Analyst to assess classification and markings of a wide range of products and explain determinations to leaders and staff. The role supports client missions in a dynamic security environment in the MD/VA area.

The position requires TS/SCI with a polygraph, experience with IC marking systems, and strong analytical, written, and collaborative skills. Core hours may apply.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Experience with IC Marking Systems Register and Manual.
• Coordination with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of public disclosure policies.
• Familiarity with IDSCLOSE application is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify information protection issues and declassification risks.
• Minimum 5 years working with or in the IC.
• BA degree with 12–15 years of experience or Master's with 10–13 years of experience.
• Experience reviewing senior-level policy or government documents for release.
• Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Review various products to approve or deny requests for public disclosure and explain determinations to leaders.
• Review records to determine if they can be declassified.
• Develop and maintain records tracking adjudication of materials.
• Plan, coordinate, and document classification, declassification, and prepublication determinations.
• Work during core hours 0600–1900 EST Mon-Fri as required.
