Job summary

Hornblower Group's City Experiences division is seeking a Deckhand to join a waterfront operation focused on guest safety, hospitality, and seamless vessel operations. You will help maintain the vessel, assist with docking, and ensure a clean, guest-ready environment while supporting daily crew activities.

Responsibilities include on-board guest service, mooring assistance, safety drills, and general tasks to support Captain and crew.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and guest-facing communication
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to outdoor conditions
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts
  • TWIC certification may be required (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers.
  • Assist with docking, undocking, and handling mooring lines.
  • Monitor passenger areas and support safe vessel operations.
  • Participate in safety drills and follow vessel safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and guest-ready decks, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Assist with vessel maintenance, equipment checks, and general operational tasks.
  • Load and unload supplies and remove trash and debris.
  • Support the Captain and crew with daily vessel operations.
