Qualifications

  • Currently, we are looking for Deckhands with at least 6 months of maritime experience
  • MMC required
  • TWIC required
  • Medical Certificate required
  • High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hoisting, lowering, and securing lines used aboard the vessel
  • Lifting and moving heavy equipment
  • Cooking and preparing meals for the crew
  • Painting the deck, scrubbing the deck, and washing windows and walls inside the ship
  • Following safety procedures
  • Stand watch to locate navigational aids and obstructions
  • Operates tow winch and vessel anchoring mechanism
  • Performs stern well checks
