Job summary

A leading maritime services company is seeking Deckhands to perform essential physical labor aboard vessels and barges. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $200 to $240 per day, depending on experience, and provides extensive training. Candidates should have prior push boat experience, a TWIC card, and be able to lift significant weight. The company also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Prior push boat experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a TWIC card and maintain it.
• Must be able to work holidays/weekends and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential physical labor aboard vessels and barges in all weather conditions.
• Make and break tow, secure boats and barges, and handle lines.
• General upkeep of the vessel including cleaning and minor engine tasks.

Skills

Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Experience in pushing boats

Ability to work under various weather conditions

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license
