Emler Swim School is seeking a Deck Manager/Team Manager in Houston to lead on deck and in the pool, mentor instructors, and ensure smooth class operations. You will drive safety standards, enhance student progress, and build a welcoming environment for families and staff.

The role emphasizes leadership from day one, coaching development, and organized operations, with opportunities to grow as the school expands its programs and community impact.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a passion for working with children.
• Positive energy, strong communication, and natural leadership style.
• Desire to help others grow—support for nervous swimmers or new teammates.
• Available to work a consistent schedule including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Physically active and able to be on your feet, in the water, and moving with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool.
• Coach instructors and serve as a lead instructor.
• Celebrate student wins.
• Support families.
• Stay organized and assist with scheduling, evaluations, enrollment goals.
• Upload safety standards.
