Emler Swim School in Kentucky is seeking a Deck Manager / Team Manager to lead the on-deck team and ensure smooth class operations, including supervising hourly staff and training new instructors.

This role cultivates leadership, supports families, and helps grow a vibrant school culture, with shifts including evenings and weekends and opportunities to take on additional hours as you grow.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and passionate about working with children
• Positive energy and strong communication
• Natural leadership style
• Available to work a consistent schedule including weekdays and weekends
• Physically active and on your feet, in the water, moving with purpose

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool, supervise and train hourly staff
• Coach instructors and serve as a lead instructor
• Celebrate student wins and monitor progress
• Support families and ensure customers feel confident and cared for
• Stay organized with scheduling, evaluations, and enrollment goals
• Upload and enforce safety standards on staff and students
