Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Decision Engineering Team Lead for its Manufacturing & Supply Chain group. You will guide a small team of AI software engineers, set technical direction, and deliver productive AI tools that improve manufacturing workflows.

You will remain hands-on, shipping high-leverage solutions while growing the team and aligning roadmaps with leadership goals. Fluency in Go, Python, and TypeScript is essential, with a bias for rapid impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with 2+ years in team leadership.
• Track record shipping production systems in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.
• Production-grade code in Go, Python, and TypeScript; strong full‑stack skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of AI coding agent tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Ability to review architectures and unblock engineers.
• Ownership mindset with roadmap execution.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience at fast-scaling automation or robotics firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Decision Engineers, setting technical direction and shipping quality work.
• Still code: personally deliver high-leverage AI tools for manufacturing and supply chain workflows.
• Own delivery: identify high-impact AI opportunities and turn them into shipped tools with measurable gains.
• Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure, including AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md.
• Grow engineers on the team through reviews, direction, and hiring.
• Partner with leadership to translate goals into an AI tooling roadmap.
