Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring Decision Engineers (AI Software Engineers) to build AI-powered decision systems for manufacturing and supply chain teams. You’ll identify high-impact opportunities for AI augmentation, then ship tools to drive productivity gains across internal operations.

Expect ownership from design to production in a fast-growing infra environment. The role emphasizes building AI tooling, integrating LLMs, and staying ahead of capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering with production-grade Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack web development using React or Next.js.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks.
• Daily use of AI coding agents with concrete tools built.
• Self-driven with high impact and ambiguity tolerance.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build decision systems and internal tools leveraging frontier models that make manufacturing and supply chain operations significantly more productive.
• Own tools end to end, from conception through production, iterating directly with the people who use them.
• Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure including AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md, and build shared skills for the organization.
• Build custom integrations between LLMs and internal systems (Slack, GitHub, internal APIs, operational data).
• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI capabilities and proactively identify new opportunities to apply emerging techniques.
