Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring Decision Engineers (AI Software Engineers) for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain team to build decision systems for manufacturing and supply chain operations. You’ll identify high-impact opportunities for AI augmentation and ship tools that boost productivity across teams.

You will own tools end to end, design and maintain AI infrastructure, and build integrations between LLMs and internal systems while staying ahead of rapid AI advances to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade code in Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack development skills for building web applications (React, Next.js, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and building AI-powered tools.
• Daily use of AI coding agents with concrete examples of tools you built.
• Ability to work autonomously: identify problems, design solutions, and ship results.
• Strong product and systems judgment and comfort with ambiguity and pace.
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders; manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build decision systems and internal tools leveraging frontier models.
• Own tools end to end from conception through production.
• Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure and skills for the org.
• Build integrations between LLMs and internal systems (Slack, GitHub, internal APIs).
• Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and identify new opportunities.
