Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring a Decision Engineering Team Lead to spearhead the Infrastructure Development & Delivery team. You will lead a small group of Decision Engineers, set technical direction, and still contribute hands-on to build AI-powered tools and decision systems that boost productivity in infrastructure workflows.

You will own the team's delivery, identify high-impact opportunities, and collaborate with leadership to align AI tooling with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years leading a team while still coding
• Track record shipping production systems and internal tools
• Experience with Go, Python, and TypeScript
• Hands-on development with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks
• Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Decision Engineers and set technical direction
• Personally ship high-leverage AI tooling and agents
• Identify and ship AI augmentation opportunities with measurable gains
• Design and maintain AI infrastructure docs (AGENTS.md, SKILLS.md)
• Grow engineers through review, direction, and hiring
• Translate team goals into an AI tooling roadmap
