Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Able to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Able to operate a computer/phone.
• Able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour workweek.
• Able to read and comprehend position-specific documents.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and outside parties.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, etc., in active litigation files.
• Review litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate action.
• Advocate on behalf of the client’s interests at litigation settings.
• Utilize internal software to update and document account status.
• Analyze and process litigation inventory reports to ensure proper workflow.
• Comply with client and firm standard operating procedures.
• Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
