Job summary

Coast Professional, Inc. is seeking a Consumer Care Representative for an in-office position in Wilmington, DE. You will contact taxpayers, inform them of delinquencies, and explain repayment options while following strict scripts and procedures.

Responsibilities include skip-tracing, handling calls, negotiating payments, and ensuring compliance with FDCPA and client requirements. Requires a high school diploma and potential licensing/clearance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Collection experience preferred.
• Knowledge & abilities: Reading/typing, office procedures, customer service, teamwork, organization and compliance with debt collection laws.

Responsibilities

• Skip-tracing taxpayers to locate current residence and employment information.
• Handling incoming and outgoing collection calls.
• Negotiating balance in full payments, payment arrangements or legal referrals.
• Reviewing accounts and scheduling follow-up contact dates.
• Reading and following scripts verbatim.
• Follow Federal/State laws and company policies.
• Documenting interactions with taxpayers.
• Additional duties as assigned based on the line of business.
