Job summary

WLCC II in Claymont, DE is seeking a dedicated Collector to manage outbound and inbound calls in a fast-paced call center. The role requires FDCPA knowledge, setting up payment plans, and tracking arrangements with teammates to ensure compliance and timely follow-up.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of collections or sales experience, a High School diploma (Some college preferred), and solid Microsoft Office skills for daily tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 120 calls per day and answer any incoming collection calls
• Read and respond to all emails received in a timely manner
• Set up payment arrangements according to collection guidelines
• Follow up on all broken arrangements by the customer
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve targets
• Must be able to stay for extended hours if asked

Job purpose

Under the direction of the Collection Manager, Must operate within the approved guidelines, policies and procedures of the FDCPA.

Duties and responsibilities

> Collector must make minimum of 120 calls a day and answer any incoming collection calls.

> Read and Respond to all emails received in a timely manner

> Set up payment arrangements according to collection guidelines

> Follow up all broken arrangements by the customer

> Has to be able to work close with other coworkers

> Must be able to stay for extended hours if asked

> All collectors must have knowledge of the FDCPA

> Collector has to be able to schedule and track their own arrangements made

> Q&A out bound calls

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimal of 1 year of collection or sales experience
• Strong keyboard skills
