Job summary

Better Banks in the United States is seeking a Debit Card Fraud Representative to serve as the primary contact for telephone customer service to the bookkeeping function and assist with debit card fraud duties. This role reports to the Cashier.

You will handle routine account inquiries, research issues, cross-sell products, and support cash management processes. The position requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ banking experience in bookkeeping, data entry, help desk, or operations.
• Familiarity with debit card processes and fraud prevention is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact for incoming calls directed to the bookkeeping department.
• Assists customers over the phone with routine account-related requests; researches and resolves inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assists with debit card inquiries and fraud cases; reviews fraud claims to determine if fraudulent.
• Uses marketing techniques to build relationships by cross-selling and promoting products and services.
• Performs Cash Management daily file submission and verification callbacks.
• Assists with stuffing of statements and notices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
