Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence, Inc. - South Bend is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to support behavioral management and school culture for students, staff, and families.

You will develop behavior support plans based on Functional Behavior Assessments and work with other school personnel to promote student growth and development. The role requires collaboration with the Assistant Principal and Dean of Discipline, and daily communication using the chain of command, while upholding PSOE standards

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and able to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Commitment to quality programs and student education.
• Annual training and/or professional development is required for PSOE employees.

Responsibilities

• Act as a professional advisor to the Assistant Principal on behavioral and school culture activities.
• Serve as behavioral program liaison to the Principal and CAO.
• Assist with front-line parent communication for behavior and attendance.
• Facilitate communication among staff, students and parents to manage discipline and attendance according to policies.
• Maintain professional presence and adhere to PSOE frameworks and staff handbook.
• Support daily duty and coverage schedules and related activities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, authorizer, and legislative guidelines.
